34 degrees and no grooming today. After a 10 hr day of rolling in 5-6” of wet sticky new snow and cutting more trees out than a logger does in a typical day, the grooming staff’s bodies need a rest! Snow didn’t freeze so it wouldn’t have groomed out well today anyways. Upper loops will be skiing a bit better then lower loops as they got less traffic. Lower loops are still skiable, they will just be tracked out. A track was set around the whole lower loop yesterday. Some trees are still down and trees have been actively falling so keep an eye out….we’ll be back Monday morning to clean things up. Looking like a white winter land out here…
