Tonight at 7:00pm, Glacier Cyclery & Nordic is providing a presentation and slide show by Peter Ashley who in 1978 became the first National Junior Development Coach for USST, and later moved on to coach the national womens team. Peter was a coach at the 1985 Nordic World Championships in Seefeld, AT where the skating technique was first used at a major world championship event. Following his coaching career he became the director of coaches education for the USST Nordic Program during the advent of skate skiing. Peter also worked for Fischer skis for 20 years as the National Sales and Marketing Director.
